Sado's sea is one of Japan's premier scuba diving spots. Enjoy the ocean easily with snorkeling (no license required).

Our motto is to provide "the most fun and the most attentive service."

We've made efforts to ensure that even those who are a little afraid of entering the sea, or families with small children, can safely enjoy the underwater world.

Even if you've given up because you "can't swim," please come and take a look at our sea! Not being able to swim is absolutely no problem.

 

■Location

We will guide you to Mushizaki, located in northern Sado Island. This spot is particularly renowned for its exceptional water clarity, abundance of fish, and diverse fish species.

A key feature is that you can encounter colorful fish right from the shallows. Sado's fish are very friendly. While snorkeling, you can observe a rich ecosystem up close, from large fish swimming in front of you to octopuses and sea urchins hiding in the rocks.

It's not a closed-off cave-like space, so it offers a fantastic sense of openness! You can fully experience the contrast between the vast sky and the blue sea.

■Facilities and Services

To ensure you can come "empty-handed," we offer rental bath towels and sandals (limited number available).

Carefully Selected Equipment: We select masks in photogenic colors and fins that are easy for anyone to use.

Instantly Share Your Memories: Underwater photos and videos taken by the guide are transferred to your smartphone immediately after the tour. Uploading to social media is also quick and easy!

Comfortable Environment: Facilities with toilets, showers, and changing rooms are located right in front of the ocean where you'll experience the diving! We'll guide you to the optimal route so you can freshen up after the tour before heading to your next sightseeing spot.

 

■Surrounding Environment

Mushizaki is located at the entrance to Sado's two major scenic spots, "Onogame" and "Futatsugame."

After experiencing the breathtaking beauty of the sea at Mushizaki, it's just a 20-minute drive to Futatsugame, a three-star destination in the "Michelin Green Guide Japon."

We propose an efficient sightseeing route to explore the northernmost tip of Sado.

The surrounding area is a quiet area with unspoiled nature. We'll also share the owner's recommended "scenic spots with spectacular views" and "photo spots only known to locals"!

 

■Number of Sessions

We hold four sessions per day: early morning, morning, afternoon, and sunset.

Enjoy early morning snorkeling in the quiet and refreshing morning air. Prepare at dusk and swim under a sky full of stars for sunset snorkeling.

 

■A Message from the Shop

"I want to go to a tropical resort, but I don't have the time or money..." For those people, we want you to know about Uchikaifu and Mushizaki in Sado.

For those coming from the Tohoku, Hokuriku, and Chubu areas, "Sado is the closest resort island."

■Conditions for Holding the Activity

・The activity will be held even in rainy weather, but in case of severe weather, the diving point may be changed or the activity may be canceled.

・In the event of cancellation, we cannot compensate for travel expenses to the site. Please understand in advance.

 

■Notes
・Parental consent is required for minors.
・Diving and snorkeling are not permitted after drinking alcohol.
・Please refrain from drinking alcohol the day before to avoid a hangover.
・Swimming restrictions are often lifted just before the start of the course, and sometimes the area may be closed at the last minute.

 

■Spot Change Notice

・Depending on the sea conditions on the day of participation, the diving point may be changed or the activity may be canceled.

*Please note that the decision to hold the course will depend on the ocean waves and wind.

*By making a reservation, you acknowledge that you understand the contents of the [Point Change Notice].

 

■Regarding Age Restrictions

*We may ask for age verification.

*Please bring identification such as your health insurance card or driver's license.

*If you do not have proof of age, there is a possibility of a paid cancellation process. Please understand this before applying.

*By completing your application, you are deemed to have understood and agreed to these terms.

Up to 8 days prior: Free

7-4 days prior: 30% of the reservation fee

3-2 days prior: 40% of the reservation fee

The day before: 50% of the reservation fee

Same day/No-show: 100% of the reservation fee

What is snorkeling?

Snorkeling is an activity where you float on the water's surface using three pieces of equipment: a mask (goggles), a snorkel (breathing tube), and fins (flippers), enjoying the underwater world, including fish, marine life, and scenery.

Even if you can't swim, you can easily explore the ocean using these tools.

It's not difficult, but doing it incorrectly without knowing the basics can be dangerous.

Wearing a buoyant wetsuit and life jacket ensures your safety.
